Revised Rating Values 2009   

The latest valuations for the Hauraki District have now been released. Ratepayers/property owners have until 19 November 2009 to object to the valuation of their property. Objections must be completed in writing. The Valuation Objection form(15KB) is available to download or can be obtained from one of our Council offices. Please note: The new valuations will not be used for rating purposes until the July 2010 – June 2011 financial year, even though they are dated July 2009. The law is very specific in terms of what values are to be used for calculating and charging rates. They are the values that are on the roll as at 30 June in the preceding year, ie the values on the roll at 30 June 2009 are the values that apply to the rating year 1 July 2009 to 30 June 2010.
